Hi my name is Alisha and I'm from NJ. I'm currently a nursing student and unemployed. I've been diligently looking for suitable work to no avail. I collect unemployment benefits. Due to a glitch in the system, I won't be getting paid until October 16th and haven't been paid since the end of August. It's been quite rough just to get money to put gas in my car to get to school. I live with my mother and she's been trying to help me but it's taking a toll on her. She had to sell a piece of jewelry for cash today and it was quite upsetting. I can't offer a lot, but this is a genuine request for help. I am selling textbooks online but I don't know if it's appropriate to include the link. Anything helps...I just need a couple of dollars to get through the 2 1/2 weeks ahead of me. That's my short little story. Thank you and take care.
